The Ophthalmic Assistant is responsible for providing direct patient care to patients seen in the Optometry or Ophthalmology departments. He or she will ensure the safety and comfort of patient and families according to legal, organizational and professional standards.
Qualifications include:
High School Diploma or GED
1 year previous Medical Assistant or Optometric Assistant experience
OA certified
Ability to use equipment and related supplies for selected patient population.
CRT experience
Current BCLS
